At Savaari, we care for your safety. Amidst the COVID-19 crisis, we suggest you postpone all your non-essential leisure or work-related travel. Sit back at home and spend time with your loved ones, ensuring their health and well-being.
However, for those unavoidable scenarios where you absolutely must travel, we encourage you to go for smart travel options and #safetravelcorona. Limiting the use of public transport is an essential step towards ensuring social distancing.
To facilitate your emergency travel requirements, Savaari has taken every possible step to ensure your safety on the road! We are training and educating our drivers on the best practices to maintain personal as well as vehicular hygiene. A detailed health advisory has also been shared with them to ensure the highest standard of cleanliness in cars.
1. Thoroughly Disinfected Cars
Our drivers disinfect their cars thoroughly, inside out, at the start and end of every trip. Extra care is taken to sanitise the door handles, seat belts and panels, which are direct points of contact.
2. Drivers Exercise Personal Hygiene
We have asked our drivers to exercise a 20 second hand wash practice every 5 hours. After dropping off a customer and handling money, they sanitise their hands.
3. Cars ‘Aired’ After Trip
Our drivers wind down their car windows to ventilate the car after every trip.
4. ‘Healthy’ Drivers On-duty
Only drivers who declare themselves fit and are in good health are assigned bookings. Any driver who claims to be ‘not feeling well’ is given time off with the promise that he will be duly compensated with future bookings.
5. Social Distancing
As a means to spread awareness around social distancing in the wake of COVID-19, our drivers will greet you with the good ol’ Namaste!
Simultaneously, we request you to take relevant safety measures as advised by WHO, whether you are at home or traveling.
On a lighter note, here are a few fun things that will help you pull through boredom and survive the coronavirus lockdown.
If you have any feedback that’ll help us make your trip more convenient and safe, we are all ears. Do not hesitate to reach out on our customer helpline number, 904-545-0000.
Meanwhile, we sincerely hope you stay safe within the comfort of your home, close to your family. It’s only a matter of time until we defeat the crisis and come out stronger.
