#60DaysOfSummer – Rafting at Honnemaradu, Jog Falls

About an hour’s drive from Jog Falls, Honnemaradu is a great place to unwind if you’re someone who wants to spend a day exploring wilderness and learning how to go rafting.

If you’re looking to relax, you can spend time along the banks of the Sharavathi river where the water is calmer than at Jog Falls. You can even go kayaking in circular kayaks in the calmest parts of the stream.

While you’re there, you can stay at the Jungle Lodges’ Sharavathi Adventure Camp or at Matthuga which is closer to Jog Falls.
